What can I say, I am a lady who likes the finer things in life! So not only do I like precious metal and gem stones, I love travel to countries full of culture, beauty, class and elegance!
I have been to Italy 4 times now and each time I get swept up in its beauty, fine wine, delicious food and absolutely stunning people! They would look lovely in a bin bag!
My holiday read was ‘The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry’, I sat on my balcony reading, overlooking a lake and with the Swiss Alps in the horizon…………if that isn’t all of the above, well I don’t know what is!!!!!!
I am inspired by life at the minute, everything I do, everywhere I go I am looking for inspiration! It doesn’t take long to jump up and hit me in the face! Someone once told me that ‘some people look forever, but I (me) seem to find it instantly. Or rather, I grab hold of things instantly. Life is far too short to wait around!
The Harold Fry book is about one man walking to deliver a letter from one end of the country to the other (England). As you read you realise he is doing it to right any wrongs and he looks back over his life while walking, remembering things that we all put to the back of our minds!
So, sitting on my balcony in Italy I didn’t look beyond my surroundings, just lived for that moment and found I was totally chilled, at peace and just loving life…..a memory to keep in my mind!
I am ready to start a new collection…..it will hopefully be like my view in Italy……stunning, simple, elegant, breath taking!
So as I go about my everyday life, I will think of Harold Fry and my balcony in Italy and be thankful for the beauty of the world around me!!
